Train the Trainer
When was the last time you held Training for your Troop Leadership? What is the methodology and philosophy behind this EDGE Training? Do you know that there each scout should know and use the EDGE techniques in working toward advancement?
The March 4th Roundtable topics for the Boy Scout Breakout group will be:
- George Clark will update the who –what- when-where and why of adult training.
- John Nelson will do a ‘train the trainer’ session on the EDGE training method for the Troop Leader Training that we should all be providing for our Leadership.
- One more ‘shot’ for the scuba guy and his promo for the new Scuba merit badge! Join Master Scuba Diver/ Trainer--Jim Wittlieff -www.thescubadiverstore.com as he offers his insight and expertise on this new, exciting offering.
Reminders
2010 Centennial Quality Unit Forms- Although you just turned in your 2009 forn- Your forms for 2010 are DUE at the March Round table. Go to www.kettlecountry.org and download your 2010 form. There is also information on the website to fill out your 2009 actual and your 2010 goals.
FOS- FOS Presentations are already happening!! If you have not gotten us your FOS date/time/location and a contact please respond to this email with that information or you can call Amanda at 920-319-1278. If they don't hear from you by the end of the week- they will be calling you for that information.
6:30 PM- Pre-opening and fellowship
7:00 PM- Opening; announcements, information and Kettle Country business
7:30 PM- + Break Out Sessions- Cub Scout or Boy Scout or Venture Presentations
8:30PM- + Planned completion time
